The night of sorrow passed away
A touch of bitterness would be just right
This phony serenity sets its anchor
The sign says we’re almost at the terminal station
What drips onto the window is my indiscretion

Oh oh, same day, same place
I’m walkin’ on the wild side
The darkness continues to playfully dance

No matter how many times it happens it doesn’t end, the world in slow motion
How many times I’ve gotten entwined with you and made a mistake
And then today as well you want it, that foolish slow motion
Just every night, every night I see dreams of crossing over it all
of my body

I made sure of these raw-smelling fingers
and hid myself with a cheap umbrella
My heart throbs by this contrary correctness
The rhythm accelerates
Sneering at this moment of ecstasy, um um...
