Haiagare MY WAY (Crawl Up MY WAY)
Mao Abe
It can’t end the way it is now...
I’ve got not self-confidence, I can’t find out
If there’s no exit then there’s no answer
I can’t work hard, I want to give up already
But those are nothing but excuses
What’s the result? How are you viewed?
leave what’s under your feet
They are so great, they’re so blessed
look up to the greener pastures
Stop being timid by just thinking about how you may run away
This is the road on which only I stand, a different one from those others
It can’t end the way it is now, I’ve got a reason for living this far
I’m going to take you higher, higher, crawl up MY WAY
To jump out from the start line once more requires bravery so
I’m going to take you higher, higher, crawl up MY WAY
I’m terrible when I pull on and compare someone else then feel down on purpose
Putting on airs of composure will cause nothing to spring from this papier mache body of mine
The result is always honest, this here is surely my correct future
Whether they are here or not, I can’t rewrite what’s on my postcard
The fact I could come here genuinely is what finally supports me
I’m not going to lose what’s important, I’ve got to go, I can’t take it anymore
If I hold my head high now I’ll make sure of my imperfect self
And then I’ll walk out to find the next move
So I can be proud of myself after having made a fresh start of myself to the start line once more
I’ll turn towards you and quickly, quickly, start running MY WAY
I’m an honest person, a fool would go out to meet you from here
I can only do this much so, sorry, I can’t hesitate at this stage
If I hold my head high now I’ll make sure of my imperfect self
And then I’ll walk out to find the next move
To jump out from the start line once more requires bravery so
I’m going to take you higher, higher, crawl up MY WAY
