Mashimaro (Marshmallow)
Kaela Kimura
Even if it rains, I don’t care; Even if I’m late, I don’t care
Even if I’m laughed at, I don’t care; Even if I don’t know, I don’t care
You’re like a Buddha, like a flower blooming in a field
I don’t care about my useless self; Even if my beard grows out, I don’t care
Even if it’s backwards, I don’t care; Even if it’s the daily set menu, I don’t care
You’re entirely like the ocean, the Pacific Ocean stretching far away
Your appearance is like a mother; as if you’re fully enlightened
This world is truly tough; in that respect you’re remarkable
Ordinary people don’t understand it; in that regard, I understand it
Let’s go have lunch; Let’s go throw some pies together
That pattern on your skirt, I’m going to make it the wallpaper on my room
There’s no use in interfering with you; Let’s just observe in silence
So that I can be with you, I’m going to continue exerting myself each day

Marshmallows have nothing to do with this; nothing to do with this text
Marshmallows have nothing to do with it
