A Gata no Uta (A Song for Blood Type A People)
Kana Nishino
We’re famous for being very thorough but
my room is surprisingly in disarray
But if my door is open even
one centimeter I can’t fall asleep
I can’t sleep ‘cause I keep thinking
about what went on today, a review meeting all alone
Once I start worrying about something it doesn’t stop
Although it’s already two in the morning
Ah even if I regret it now
there’s no use so
I’ll try to forget, but I can’t
completely forget
‘Cause I’m blood type A
Of course I worry about this and that
Once in a while I’m positive
I’ve also got a sloppy side to me but
even though it doesn’t look like it I’m blood type A
My heart is more delicate than anything
Please treat me kindly
and don’t say I’m a pain in the neck
I’ll look before I leap
I’m going to continue on prudently in everything
Going shopping and the menu at the family restaurant
there’s just too much I can’t decide
I can’t decide on how to coordinate my clothes today
I take out absolutely everything, it's a fashion show
My closet is once again in disarray
Although I’ve now only got five minutes
Ah finally I can have peace of mind
with my standard denim
Ah sometimes I want to try being adventurous
I just can’t do it
‘Cause I’m blood type A
Of course security is number one
Once in a while I’m dynamic
and I have my audacious moments but
even though it doesn’t look like it I’m blood type A
Having a plan in everything is important
Go steady with me honestly
and don’t say I’m a pain in the neck
Matching the rhythm of others and taking others into consideration
is the field of expertise for those with blood type A, yet
Somehow to you who I love so much I always
speak so selfishly
But I can say these things only to you
‘Cause I’m blood type A
Of course I care about the small things for this and that
Once in a while I go at my own pace
I’m probably a little loose with time
Even though it doesn’t look like it I’m blood type A
Always never forgetting to consider others
Get along with me well
and don’t say I’m a pain in the neck
