Hitori Jenga (Jenga Alone)
Hitomi Yaida
As it's plunged into darkness the neon of the city is the rain of the past
The rainbow-colored marbles shine in this dark room
Each time I play it tough I fragilely bend
Although I want you this much
I want to meet you but I can’t
If I meet you now it’ll be too tough
My insufficient heart is a puzzle
that’ll crumble like a Jenga tower
There’s no medicine that’s effective for this, oh my doctor
I want to smile, I want to believe, from the swampy bottom of my heart
A razor laden with dirty finger marks
can’t cut open the future
I want to meet you but I can’t
Meeting you now is a bit scary
The building blocks of those unnecessary words
call me to the next labyrinth
Oh my doctor...
You’re my joker?
Oh my doctor...
I love you but why does it hurt
I want to meet you but I can’t
There’s no end to this playing alone
My insufficient heart is a puzzle
It’ll raise a sound and, with you,
crumble like a Jenga tower
