深夜高速
阿部真央
On the late night highway I kissed your hand; it’s the midsummer magic, hey, nothing scares me now
I plug up my lips, words half spoken, and on this night we just run through I pretend not to see it
We’re free, we’re horribly isolated
We aren’t choosing any answer, we’re dishonest adults aren’t we
I’ll disgrace you this much, I think I still want to be held in your arms
Every time we pile on one another I feel like you have become a little bit more distant
Your feelings appear and disappear with your “I definitely want to do it” and “I like it how things are now”
You’re misunderstanding something, surely doing it is something that isn’t there between us
Once I obtained you I felt like I had cleared about any and every goal
Embracing you with that feeling, I wonder, is there really any value to you?
No matter how much I connect with you, I remain unable to divert this loneliness
Every time we pile on one another I lose myself again
I understand that, but...
I sigh and swim as if wandering about a stagnant night, different from the sweet dreams
We’re such dishonest adults aren’t we... not choosing to love or let each other go
I’ll disgrace you this much, I think I still want to be held in your arms
Every time we pile on one another you become a little bit more distant
I lost myself once again, I understand that, but...
